The Faults In Our 'Society'

If I could have the entire world read any book of my choice, I'd have them read 'The Faults In Our Stars.' I believe in society, people aren't happy unless they have a ton of money and the newest Jordan's. TFIOS is about a 17 year old girl with lung cancer who falls in love with an 18 year old boy. He suffered from cancer once and lost his leg but later on in the book, the cancer comes back. It spreads to his entire body. He was going to die. I wouldn't make the world read this book because I thought it was someone's reality or because I enjoyed the story line. I'd make the world read it because it could show them they should be grateful for what they have. There are people born with these things that give them a shorter amount of time than the rest of us. I believe after the world reads this book, it might fill them with kindness or at least make them feel grateful for the long period of time they have.
